Usage Instructions:
* Positive pole of the batteries must be installed upward, pointing away from the LED head, in order for this unit to work.
Note: pictures show our 10mW model which looks exactly the same as this 5mW model. It also comes with the same gift box and accessories. Reported by a number of fellows from our forums, as most China-made green lasers do not come with an IR filter, this is the safest green laser to use without an IR filter as it outputs only 5mW of power where according to researches require very extensive exposure to cause health implications.
Pros: Very bright. Can see beam in the dark and spot in the sunlight. Build quality seems excellent. Good runtime on NiMH batteries. Nice case if you are looking for one.
Other Thoughts: Bright enough to 'exercise' pets in the light. Used to mark a straight line over 500ft long.
Bottomline: If you don't have one - get one - you'll find a use.
Cons: Price went down after I ordered mine - but I guess that is good for everyone else!
