Pros: The driver circuit is quality and has a 5 sec delay before laser emission
and it has TTL active low beam blanking and the red laser driver was populated
and can drive a red laser simultaneously.
The laser module has a professional look and can be run contiguously if you
bolt it to a thermal conductor so it always feels cool. I think the beam power
output is about 40-50mW and driver draws 330mA at 4.5 volts or more.
Cons: The beam was out of focus so it spread a little too much. Would like
more beam power.Take care to not allow module to electrically short out because
it?? 5v positive.
Pros: Good laser. Both red and green driver board sections are populated, so you can drive two diodes at the same time. Cuts black tape.
Cons: Its very expensive and its only 50mW and not 100mW. Focusing lens is very low quality.
Other Thoughts: Nice laser.
